Philips Hue bulbs are Smart LED light-bulbs that can be operated via an App, your browser, a smart-switch or voice via Alexa or Google Assistant. We’ve started to convert our household bulbs from standard LED to LED smartbulbs. Smartbulbs are simple to set up and have other benefits too. For example, we have a landing light which activates when the it’s dark, day or night, and then switches to a dimmed motion-activated night-light during the course of the evening.
One room that I was struggling to find smart bulbs for was our study/home office. Philips Hue GU10 bulbs are only rated at 250 lumens (brightness) and I needed at least 330 lumens to illuminate the room. Then I found the ‘innr’ smart lighting brand, innr is a company based in The Netherlands. Innr’s GU10 bulbs are compatible with Philips Hue and have a maximum brightness of 350 lumens.
Additional technical specifications for the innr bulbs:
- A+ energy rating
- Peak of power usage of 5.4Watts
- 36 degree beam arc
- Tunable white from 2200K to 5000K
- Bulb lifetime of 25,000 hours
The innr smart lighting bulbs came in simple but functional packaging, clear instructions were included and there were no problems pairing the bulbs with the Philips Hue hub.
The bulbs responded the same as my other Hue bulbs and worked seamlessly with the Hue App. The innur tunable/dimmable function is the same as the Philips Hue White Ambiance function and again is seamless in operation.
All in all very impressed with the operation of innr bulbs and the brightness.
I purchased my four pack of innr smart tunable/dimmable GU10 bulbs from Amazon.co.uk and are very happy with their performance. I would recommend the innr product over the Philips Hue GU10 White Ambiance equivalent bulb whose technical specifications for lamp lifetime, brightness and energy rating are inferior to the innr GU10 bulbs.
